…or when you’re experiencing record-breaking heat, it’s time to make lemonade.
Here’s a homemade recipe by Martha Stewart that I plan to try:
1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 10 lemons)
1 cup superfine sugar
2 cups water
1/4 cup cranberry juice (for pink lemonade)
Strain lemon juice into a pitcher and mix with sugar; stir until sugar dissolves. Add water; stir again until well combined. For pink lemonade, stir in cranberry juice.
